Wood or Metal Vintage Sign?

Wood or metal? It all depends on your own personal taste. Some designs might lend themselves better to one or the other depending on the image or message. Wooden signs hang easily much like any framed picture. Metal signs feature holes pre-punched in all four corners allowing you to easily nail or screw them in place.

Durable fade-resistant pigments are used to create all Vintage signs, and either format can be displayed outdoors. As our wooden signs are made from 1/2" plywood, if you plan on hanging one outdoors, we do recommend sealing the edges of the sign with a good quality wood sealant. This will help to extend the sign's life by keeping water out of the plywood's laminations. Either way, our signs will add charm and beauty to any home, cabin, lodge, or workplace!

Personalization Pointers

We are happy to change a name, a location, a body of water, or a line of text wherever indication arrows are shown. Font styles shown on examples cannot be changed, and text will be sized and positioned according to our designer’s discretion and expertise. 

In order to help eliminate spelling mishaps, we only accept orders for personalized signs online or in writing. You are welcome to complete your order by using our secure online Shopping Cart feature. Simply select the sign you want from the Vintage Sign menu, then follow the instructions provided. Be sure to indicate whether you want your sign on wood or on metal before finalizing your order. As a final reminder, please be sure to check your order carefully for any spelling mistakes prior to sending it to us.

We will contact you prior to completing your order to ensure everything is just the way you want it. Once your personalized sign has been painted, it cannot be changed, altered, cancelled, or returned. For these reasons, sales for all personalized signs are FINAL.
